twisted fairytale

this is for our twisted fairytale. i used a a piece of foamed at cut it to form a circle. i learned that it is hard to come up with ideas for twisted fairytale. i liked the final outcome. i didnt like the idea of the project though

my mask-

I made a mask out of clay. We poured clay into a mold, and wait tell it formed and poured the rest out. to form this. then i just painted it randomly.

here is my wheel throw pieces. There not all the greatest but, i got them done. I' m not the biggest fan of clay, and even more on the wheel.

here is my piece of clay-work that is needed to hang on the wall somewhere. i made a checkered board, i just flated out a piece of clay and carved squares out of it.

This class has been very interesting! I'm not the biggest fan of the 3D art thing, but i like the challenge. I think the hardest project we have done so far was the zentangle. I didn't really understand the whole shape thing. My most favorite project would have been the wood burning that I did. My growth in this class i would have to say, it has been a growing one. and im looking forward for the rest of the year!

I chose this project because it was simple.
I didn't like the idea of wires and tissue paper

Project #1

I created a 3D object out of index cards. I just folded some cards to form a shape. I learned that it is kinda more challenging to build objects with index cards. The final was alright, i just wish i had a better concept of folding cards.
